Special Weekend Classes
During the month long “Joy of Mathematics” sessions we conduct at various primary schools, we identify highly talented and motivated children from financially weak families for our special mentoring program. After interaction with the parents of the selected children, to impress upon them their child’s potential, we enroll the children to our weekend training sessions. Two sessions, each of 3 hours, are conducted every weekend in the RCF Activity Center at Shivabasav Nagar School. These highly interactive sessions are designed to develop strong logical, combinatorial, abstract and spatial thinking among the children. Children also gain skill to solve complex problems requiring application of multiple concepts in innovative ways. Although our primary emphasis is on Mathematics, Science and English grammar are also taught alongside. Students carry out exciting practical experiments to validate the concepts learnt in the fields such as electricity, sound and mechanics.
