The government Kannada higher primary school in Shivabasav Nagar area of Belagavi was established in 1995. The school currently has 120 students, most of whom come from highly underprivileged families of Vaddar waadi and Ramanagar areas of Belagavi. The school has been adopted by Rajalakshmi Children Foundation, and has been developed as a Health Promoting School.

Compound wall, gate and watchman shelters were constructed as vandalism and theft of school property is a major concern before any intervention.

Activity Center
A dedicated large hall for conducting classes and seminars on STEM and Health Education. The hall, equipped with a power backup system and 50 steel desks, is being utilized beyond our initial expectations, to purposes such as teacher training programmes conducted by the Education Department
