Securing the Premises

Existing compound wall was repaired and its height was increased as the school premises was being misused by outsiders after school hours, and incidents of theft were reported. A large entrance gate was also constructed.

Activity Center 

An existing hall was renovated, by re-plastering walls, changing the roof and laying tiles, to convert it into an activity center. As in the Shivabasav Nagar school, the activity center is being utilized wonderfully and is even benefiting other schools in the nearby areas

Dining Hall and Area

Children were taking their midday meals in the open area, and were troubled by dust and rains. A dilapidated and abandoned hall was renovated, converting it into a dining hall for the children to take their midday meal. The adjacent area was also developed by laying pavers and steel roofing. This area is also used by the students for dining and for morning prayers and PT during the rainy season.

WASH

A toilet complex, with ease of cleaning in mind, was constructed with assistance from Rotary Club of Venugram. A hand washing facility was built near the dining area.
